At Ictech Morocco, we are looking for experienced Backend Software Engineers with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience, with a strong background in Java and modern backend development.

About the role
As a Senior Backend Software Engineer at Ictech Morocco, you will design, develop and improve backend systems for international clients.
Depending on your background and the project, you may work with everything from large enterprise platforms and distributed systems to cloud-native microservices, APIs and event-driven architectures.
You will be part of cross-functional engineering teams and work closely with other developers, architects, DevOps engineers and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
What you may work with
Depending on the project and your experience, your responsibilities may include:
- Designing and developing backend applications and services
- Building scalable APIs and microservices
- Developing applications using Java and modern Java frameworks
- Designing and working with distributed and event-driven systems
- Integrating internal and external systems and services
- Working with relational and NoSQL databases
- Developing cloud-native applications
- Writing automated tests and improving software quality
- Working with CI/CD and modern software delivery practices
- Troubleshooting and optimizing application performance
- Participating in architectural and technical discussions
