At Ictech Morocco, we are looking for experienced DevOps Engineers with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience to join our growing engineering organization.
We are interested in engineers from different DevOps backgrounds. Whether your experience is primarily within cloud, CI/CD, infrastructure, platform engineering, automation or Site Reliability Engineering, we would like to hear from you.
About the role
As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Ictech Morocco, you will work with modern software development environments and help our teams and international clients build reliable, scalable and efficient development and delivery platforms.
Depending on your background and the project, your focus may be on cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, automation, container platforms, developer environments, observability or infrastructure engineering.
You will work closely with software developers and other engineers, taking part in both technical implementation and continuous improvement of development environments and engineering practices.
What you may work with
Depending on the project and your experience, your responsibilities may include:
- Building and improving CI/CD pipelines
- Automating build, test, deployment and release processes
- Cloud infrastructure and cloud-native solutions
- Infrastructure as Code
- Containerization and orchestration
- Linux environments and scripting
- Monitoring, logging and observability
- Platform and infrastructure engineering
- System reliability and performance
- Troubleshooting complex technical environments
- Improving developer experience and engineering workflows
- Working closely with development teams to improve tools, platforms and ways of working
Who you are
We are looking for engineers who combine strong technical skills with curiosity, ownership and a collaborative mindset.
You do not need to have worked with every technology or area listed above. We are more interested in your overall DevOps experience, technical foundation and ability to learn and solve problems.
You have
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience within DevOps, Cloud, Platform Engineering, SRE, Infrastructure or a related field
- Experience with CI/CD and automation
- Good understanding of modern software development and delivery practices
- Experience working with Linux environments
- Experience with scripting and/or programming
- Experience with cloud, infrastructure or platform technologies
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Professional working proficiency in English
Valuable experience
Experience with technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps or similar technologies is valuable, but we do not expect you to know them all.
