Our main focus is on engineers with strong experience in TypeScript/JavaScript and modern frontend technologies such as React or Angular, while experience with backend development is highly valuable.
About the role
As a Senior Frontend / Fullstack Engineer at Ictech Morocco, you will design, develop and improve modern web applications and digital services for international clients.
Depending on your background and the project, you may work primarily with frontend development or take broader responsibility across both frontend and backend.
You will collaborate closely with other software engineers, UX/UI designers, architects, DevOps engineers and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
What you may work with
Depending on the project and your experience, your responsibilities may include:
- Designing and developing modern web applications
- Building scalable frontend architectures
- Developing applications using TypeScript and JavaScript
- Working with React, Angular or similar modern frameworks
- Building reusable components and frontend libraries
- Integrating frontend applications with APIs and backend services
- Developing backend services when working in a fullstack role
- Improving application performance, quality and maintainability
- Writing automated unit, integration and end-to-end tests
- Working with CI/CD and modern software delivery practices
- Improving accessibility and responsive design
- Participating in architectural and technical discussions
- Performing code reviews and sharing knowledge within the team
- Collaborating with UX/UI and product teams to create high-quality user experiences
Who you are
We are looking for experienced software engineers who care about both technical quality and the experience of the people using the products they build.
You have a strong understanding of modern web development and enjoy solving technical problems in complex software environments.
You are comfortable taking ownership, collaborating across different disciplines and contributing throughout the development lifecycle.
You have
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in software development
- Strong professional experience with TypeScript and/or JavaScript
- Strong experience with a modern frontend framework such as React or Angular
- Good understanding of modern frontend architecture and development practices
- Experience integrating applications with REST APIs and other backend services
- Experience with automated testing
- Experience with Git and modern development workflows
- Understanding of CI/CD and modern software delivery practices
- Understanding of responsive web development and accessibility
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as within cross-functional teams
- Professional working proficiency in English
