About the role
As a Senior .NET Software Engineer at Ictech Morocco, you will design, develop and improve software solutions for international clients. Depending on your background and the project, you may work primarily with backend development or in a broader fullstack environment.
Projects may range from enterprise applications and integration platforms to cloud-native services, APIs, distributed systems and modern web applications. You will work closely with other developers, architects, DevOps engineers and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
What you may work with
Depending on the project and your experience, your responsibilities may include:
- Designing and developing applications using C# and .NET
- Building scalable backend services and APIs
- Developing microservices and distributed applications
- Designing and implementing system integrations
- Working with relational and NoSQL databases
- Developing cloud-based and cloud-native applications
- Building event-driven and asynchronous solutions
- Writing automated tests and improving software quality
- Working with CI/CD and modern software delivery practices
- Troubleshooting and optimizing application performance
- Modernizing existing applications and platforms
- Participating in architectural and technical discussions
- Performing code reviews and sharing knowledge within the team
- Contributing to frontend development when relevant to the project
Who you are
We are looking for experienced software engineers who enjoy solving complex technical problems and building high-quality software. You have a strong foundation in .NET development and understand the importance of maintainability, scalability, security, performance and good software architecture. You are comfortable taking ownership, collaborating with different technical disciplines and contributing throughout the development lifecycle.
You have
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in software development
- Strong professional experience with C# and .NET
- Experience developing backend applications, services and APIs
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles
- Experience with REST APIs and system integrations
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Experience with automated testing
- Experience with Git and modern development workflows
- Understanding of CI/CD and modern software delivery practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as within cross-functional teams
- Professional working proficiency in English
Valuable experience
Depending on the project, experience with one or more of the following is considered valuable:
- ASP.NET Core

We do not expect you to know all of these technologies. Your overall engineering experience, technical foundation and ability to adapt are more important than experience with one specific technology stack.
